E-Waste Management Policy – CellCure Hub

CellCure Hub (Mukul Mobile) is committed to responsible handling and disposal of electronic waste (e-waste) generated through our doorstep mobile repair services, including replaced parts, damaged components, and end-of-life devices.

1. What Counts as E-Waste

E-waste generated through our operations includes:

• Damaged or replaced displays, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and other internal components.
• Old or non-repairable phones handed over by customers.
• Faulty motherboards, ICs, and chips removed during repair.
• Packaging materials from spare parts and accessories.

2. How We Collect E-Waste

• Components replaced during doorstep repairs are collected by our technician at the time of service.
• Customers may also hand over old, broken, or unused devices to us for responsible disposal.
• We do not leave any electronic waste at the customer's location.

3. How We Sell / Dispose of E-Waste

• Reusable parts: Components that are still functional (e.g., partially working displays, batteries with residual life) may be sorted and sold to authorized scrap dealers or recyclers dealing in used electronic components.
• Non-functional parts: Components that have no further use (damaged ICs, broken glass, unusable boards) are sent to authorized e-waste recyclers/scrap vendors registered to handle electronic waste, in line with local regulations.
• Old devices: Devices handed over by customers that are beyond repair are evaluated — usable parts are extracted for refurbishment/resale, and the remaining e-waste is forwarded to authorized recyclers.
• We do not dispose of e-waste through regular household or municipal waste channels.
• We do not export or dump e-waste illegally, and we deal only with scrap/recycling vendors who follow environmentally responsible practices.

4. Customer Data Safety During Disposal

For any device or component that may have stored customer data (e.g., old phones, memory chips), we take reasonable steps to ensure data is cleared or destroyed before the item is sold or recycled.

5. Compliance

We aim to align our e-waste handling practices with applicable Indian e-waste management regulations (E-Waste Management Rules), and we work towards using registered/authorized recyclers and dismantlers wherever possible.
